Hey again!
I finally got our pictures taken of our Hillbilly Salt Dough Pumpkins. I've not finished painting them and the candy corns still need a coat of white and yellow, but here you go!

If you remember awhile back I wrote about making grape jelly. Well something went wrong and none of it jelled. So....I opened all of the jars up and boiled the fire out of the liquid. I think it's setting up now and I'm waiting on the little "pop" to let me know that the jars have sealed. I ended up with 10 half pints this time after cooking it down awhile.
Here's what it looked like while boiling earlier:

Also, I found this CUTE little shelf at the thrift store in my hometown this week. It was only $4.00 and I can't wait to find a spot for it in Robbie's Cowboy room!

Finally, here's a picture of me and Big Daddy at my 20th high school reunion last weekend.

Have a good afternoon. I think I'm headed for a nap!

Love your pumpkins! Guess I will stick with Welch's Grape Jelly, not as talented as you. I'm sure yours will be better than mine!
OMG, I love the shelf, wish my house was country some time. Would offer you $ for it.
Have a good nap! I'm heading out from some good Mexican food.
I don't know the first thing about trying to make jelly!! And it would be a disaster if I even attempted such a thing!! I so admire you!!
And the little pumpkins, etc. are so cute!!

Wish I had the patience to make the pumpkins. They look fabulous!
Your blog is the funnest most entertaining blog I think I have ever found! I am Coley from Twin Stitchers and I like to visit blogs that appear on our traffic link to see who our clientelle are. Anyway, I have to say, this is my type of living. I am often teased in my suburbian Utah about my little family and their hill billy-ness. If you new my hubby you would understand. So thanks for sharing and for putting us as a link! You are DAW-Ling!!!
