Me...a Thriller Reader? Seriously??

Hey Y'all!  I hope you're having a Happy Hump-Day so far!
A few weeks ago, I found four paperbacks at a yard sale for 25 cents each.  I LOVE to read and I'm horrible about having books all over the place....One or two at school, one on my nightstand, one in the bathroom, one in the den, one in my purse...etc.  Crazy thing is, I can keep up with all of them.
So, anyway, I bought one called
LOCKED DOORS by Blake Crouch.  I had no clue that this author was born and raised about 45 minutes away from me.  He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2000 and is now an awesome thriller author!  I normally don't and won't read thrillers, because my nerves just simply can't take it.  I enjoy feel good, Southern-women, historical fiction, make you appreciate things, kind of novels--usually the ones that have a few recipes in the back or something too...HAHA!  But this book, seriously, I could NOT put it down.  It was a sequel to his first book, but not knowing that, I read it anyway.  If you like books that will make your heart feel like it's going to fly out of your chest, run and get this book NOW!

OK, enough about that!
Tonight is our WMU night at church and I have the program.  I have some notes and I need to get looking through them so that I'm well prepared for the devotional.
Also, since this week is Teacher Appreciation Week, I'm sending PIZZA HUT pizza to Robbie's daycare teachers for lunch today.
Finally, Robbie's class at daycare will be hosting a Mother's Day party Friday at 2pm.  You know, I'm already feeling a little sick...cough cough...think I may have to miss work on Friday...cough cough...wink wink!
Now....on to something CRAFTY!  I am getting ready to make a quilt this summer and it will be my first one.  I have talked to my Mammaw about it and she agreed to teach me AND my little sister!  We're actually going to be using some of her old clothes to make the quilt, since she only wears housecoats around the house now.  I don't know what "pattern" we will use, or what our quilts will end up looking like, but I am excited about it and cannot wait!
I really would like to make the quilt, using the pattern called, "Grandmother's Flower Garden" to look like this:

Beautiful, right?  Hope y'all have a great day!
