I hope you all enjoyed your Memorial Day Weekend! I have 11 school days left and I was in a bit of a good mood today just thinking about THAT!
So....
I cooked a great supper tonight!
Won't you pull up a chair at my table and eat with us?
Welcome to my Doublewide! Here's what's for supper tonight!First on the menu are some of the best deviled eggs you'll ever put in your mouth! Leave those pickles out of them though...that's just yucky!
For our meat item, we'll fry you up a good pork chop! No fancy seasonings or breadings, just some salt and pepper! That's my favorite way to eat a pork chop!
Tea's a brewin' too! This teapot was my mama's and it's the only way we know how to make tea.
Biscuits should be done by the time you get here too!
Daddy just couldn't wait on the biscuits to get done before I caught him stealing a deviled egg!
See...I told you the frosting is just sitting there, waiting on the cake to cool. In case you're wondering, it's cream cheese frosting too!
Ahh...here you are! Much better wouldn't you say?
Finally....I swanee y'all! This was the BEST pound cake I've ever made. I'm sure I'll be making more soon! My brother in law begged to take the whole thing home with him after supper! That's it! Seriously....come on over sometime! The more, the merrier!
Have a great day!
Edited on 5/26 to share the recipe with y'all!

What do we have to do to get an invitation! YUM! I'm baking red velvet tonight myself for my son's 23rd birthday.
You don't know how much I wish I could come! The green beans look wonderful... I'm going to have to go look for that seasoning at the Dollar General...
